Display your profile to other verified members of your congregation
Enable direct messaging between members
Process volunteer sign-ups and life event requests
Send notifications related to church activities (if enabled)
Improve and maintain the app

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your information is shared only in the following ways:

With your congregation: Profile information you choose to make visible (name, photo, bio) is visible to other verified members.
With church administrators: Pastors and church staff can see member information to facilitate pastoral care and church management.
With service providers: We use Supabase for secure data storage. Your data is stored securely and is not used for any purpose other than powering the app.

Your Privacy Controls

You have full control over your privacy within the app:

Choose whether to appear in the member directory
Choose whether your phone number is visible to other members
Enable or disable direct messages from other members
Post prayer requests anonymously
Delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app

Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app, or by requesting deletion through our Account & Data Deletion page. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems within 30 days.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes.

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Passwords are never stored in plain text. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
